Brasserie d’Achouffe's La Chouffe Belgian Blond Beer, with a 8.0% ABV, was founded in 1982 by two brothers-in-law in a dilapidated cowshed in the Belgian Ardennes. Originally based in the local village of Achouffe, the brewery has since moved out of the cowshed. The famous gnome on their bottles, a symbol of their brand, was inspired by brewer Chris.
